Ask every new customer automatically

Connect your online shop or booking system once, and every new customer gets one review request automatically, for example a couple of hours after their order is delivered. Open Get reviews, then Automatic.

Step 1: Connect your shop or booking app

You do this once, through Zapier, Make or any other app that can send a webhook.

1. Copy the address under Zapier, Make or any app.
2. In Zapier, add the action Webhooks by Zapier › POST. Paste the address as the URL and choose JSON.
3. Send the customer’s name, email and/or phone.

Step 2: Choose the message and timing

• Send by: Email, WhatsApp or SMS. If a customer has no address for that, RepOcean uses another connected way.
• When: right away, or after 1, 2 or 4 hours, the next day, or after 3 days.
• Reminder: none, or one after 3, 5 or 7 days if they don’t click.
• Ask the same person again after: 30 days up to 1 year, so repeat customers aren’t asked too often.
• Message: edit the text. {name} becomes the customer’s name and {link} their personal review link. Keep {link} in the message.

Step 3: Switch it on

Switch on Ask new customers automatically and save. The Last 30 days box shows how many customers came in and how many were asked. Each request also appears under Sent requests.
