Google posts
Write, schedule and repeat posts on your Google profile, with AI help.
Google posts are short updates that appear on your Google profile: news, offers and events. Posting regularly keeps your profile active and helps you show up in search. Open Posts.
Write a post
- Choose the Location and Post type: Update, Offer or Event.
- Write the text yourself (up to 1,500 characters, though Google shows about the first 250), or type a topic under What’s it about? and choose Write it for me. You can also choose write it from my recent reviews.
- For events and offers, add the title and start and end dates. Offers can include a coupon code, a redeem link and terms.
- Add a Button if you like: Book, Order, Buy, Learn more, Sign up or Call. Every button except Call needs a link.
- Choose Now to post straight away, or Later to pick a date and time. A later post can repeat every week or every month.
- Choose Post now or Schedule post.
Plan several posts at once
- Open Plan multiple posts.
- Choose how many (4 to 12), how often (daily, every 3 days, weekly or monthly), the first post’s date, and the type (updates only, or updates and offers). Add a theme if you like.
- Choose Draft the series. AI writes them all.
- Edit or remove any draft, then Schedule all.

Posts are listed as Upcoming, Past posts and Cancelled, with a status: Scheduled, Publishing, Published, Failed or Cancelled. Only scheduled posts can be cancelled.
Posts publish to Google, so the location must be connected to Google. Each AI-written post uses one generation; a series uses one more than the number of posts.
