Send review requests
Email, WhatsApp or text a customer your review link, with one polite reminder.
A review request is a short, friendly message with a link that opens your Google review box. Customers just tap the stars and write.
Ask one customer
- Open Get reviews, then Send requests.
- In Ask a customer for a review, type their name (optional) and an email or a phone number.
- Choose how to send it: Email, WhatsApp or SMS. Email works straight away; WhatsApp and SMS need a one-time setup.
- Check the message under What they’ll receive. You can edit it.
- Choose whether to send one reminder if they don’t click (after 2, 3, 5 or 7 days), or none.
- Choose Send review request now.
Want to ask them later? Choose Save to my list without sending.
Ask several customers
- In Your customers, choose Not asked yet.
- Tick the customers you want, then choose Ask selected. Or ask one customer from their row.
- Check the message and send.
To ask a large list in one go, open Sent requests and choose Ask your whole list (up to 500 customers at a time). Adding many customers first? See Add many customers at once.
Follow what happens
Each customer shows a plain status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not asked yet | On your list, no message sent. |
| Asked, waiting | Message sent, link not opened yet. |
| Reminder sent | They didn’t click, so one reminder went out. |
| Opened review link | They opened your Google review box. |
| Couldn’t send / Not sent | The email or phone number didn’t work, or is missing for that channel. |
| Unsubscribed | They asked not to get more messages. |
Sent requests lists everything you’ve sent, with open counts.
Unsubscribes and stopping messages
Every message has an unsubscribe link, and RepOcean respects it automatically. You can also stop messages to a customer yourself: tick them and choose Stop messages. Nobody is ever asked twice by the same request.
If you see Test mode, email sending isn’t switched on for your server yet, so emails are saved instead of delivered. Everything else works normally.
