Slack, Teams, WhatsApp and phone alerts

Get the same review alerts as your emails in your team chat, on WhatsApp, or as notifications on your phone. They follow the same rules you set for email. Open Notifications and find Chat & phone alerts.

Slack

1. In Slack, add the Incoming WebHooks app to the channel you want and copy its address.
2. Paste it into the Slack field and choose Save, then Test Slack.

Microsoft Teams

1. In Teams, open Workflows and use Post to a channel when a webhook request is received. Copy the address it gives you.
2. Paste it into the Teams field, choose Save, then Test Teams.

WhatsApp

1. Connect WhatsApp first under Get reviews → WhatsApp & SMS setup. See this guide.
2. Fill in Send to number, the Language and the name of an approved message template with four variables: title, rating and name, review text, and link.
3. Save, then Test WhatsApp.

Notifications on this phone or computer

1. On a phone, first add RepOcean to your home screen: in your browser’s menu choose Add to Home Screen or Install app, then open RepOcean from that icon.
2. Under This phone or computer, choose Turn on notifications and allow them when asked.
3. Choose Test Devices. Do this on each device you want alerts on.

To stop a channel, tick Stop sending to Slack (or Teams) and save.
