Email alerts and summaries

Hear about new reviews by email, especially bad ones, so you can reply before they do damage. Open Notifications.

Bad review alerts

1. Keep Negative review alerts switched on (it is by default).
2. Under Alert me for ratings of, choose 1 star only, 2 stars or less (default), 3 stars or less, or 4 stars or less.
3. Optionally, under Also alert when a review mentions, add words to watch for, separated by commas, such as rude, refund, dirty (up to 20). These apply to reviews of 3 stars or less.

Each alert includes the review and a button to reply straight away, often with an AI draft ready.

Every new review, or a summary

• Switch on Email me every new review to hear about all of them.
• Or choose a Summary digest: Daily (each morning) or Weekly (on Mondays). It lists new reviews, your average and what still needs a reply.

Who gets the emails

Under Send notifications to, add up to 5 addresses separated by commas. If you leave it empty, alerts go to the account email. Choose Save notification settings.

Check it works

Choose Send test email in the Delivery card. Recent alerts shows what was sent. If emails don’t arrive, check your spam folder and see Fix common problems.
