Send by WhatsApp or text message
Connect WhatsApp Business or MSG91 to send requests from your own number.
This is optional. You can send review requests by email without any setup. Set this up only if you also want to send by WhatsApp or text message, from your own business number.
Open Get reviews and choose WhatsApp & SMS setup (next to the tabs). The details come from your WhatsApp Business or MSG91 account and use their names, so you can find them there. If someone else looks after that account, send them a link to this guide.
- In WhatsApp Business Manager, create a message template and get it approved. Its text uses
{{1}}for the customer’s name and{{2}}for the review link. - In RepOcean, fill in the Permanent access token, Phone number ID, Template name and Template language (for example
en). - Choose Save WhatsApp.
Text message (SMS, India via MSG91)
- In MSG91, create a DLT-approved Flow template that uses
##name##and##link##. - In RepOcean, fill in the Auth key, Flow template ID and Sender ID.
- Choose Save SMS.
Send yourself a test
Under Send yourself a test, type your mobile number with the country code, pick WhatsApp or SMS and choose Send test. Once it arrives, the channel is ready to use for review requests and automatic requests.
